While this notice claims to only be affecting power to Fiedler and Engineering Halls, it will also take down the network and internet routing for the entire complex, and part of Seaton Hall. Additionally, other units that CECS support (Engineering Extension and BAE, but not ArECnS or TDI) will lose access to infrastructure servers, and will lose access to file servers, license servers and even DNS and DHCP servers.

Additionally, other units that CECS support (Engineering Extension and BAE, but not ArECnS or TDI) will lose access to infrastructure servers, and will lose access to file servers, license servers and even DNS and DHCP servers.
Please plan for a total shutdown during this maintenance window. Our services will be migrated to Seaton, but will still be unavailable until the network resumes. Assuming the network is restored when power returns, we should be able to resume operations. The exception to this will be BAE and ECE Research servers will stay off until Saturday morning.
